Flamescape Arena: Dodge the Fireball is a lightweight text-based terminal coding project I made while re-learning Python basics. It’s nothing fancy — just a short, silly game where you try to dodge randomly targeted fireballs over ten rounds. I used it to brush up on input(), random, variables, and loops after a break from programming.

But in the world of Torcorvion, this humble game is something more…

According to the legends of the 1st Era, as steel shaped kingdoms and wars forged alliances, the clans of old would test their warriors' agility in a brutal ceremonial gauntlet: The Flamescape. With enchanted fire cast by elemental priests, challengers had to survive a trial of dodges and burns — their courage judged by fire, their fate sealed by reflex. It’s said those who survived all ten rounds were honored with a flame-mark and the title Champion.

This game is a modern tribute to that ancient tale — simple, scrappy, and kind of dumb... but in a fun way.
